A report about volunteer

During the winter holiday, I went to two place to work as a volunteer. First place was PingAn Animal Hospital, second was Nanjing Library.
Since a very young age, I was crazy about animals, I have kept so many small animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, parrots and so on, so I decide to work for the animals as a volunteer. When I went to PingAn Animal Hospital, a terrible smell flew towards me and made me feel very uncomfortable. There was only one manager in the hospital and busing taking care of the pitiful animals she told me that the animals here all have been threw away by their masters and the hospital adopted them. After I heard about this I forget the smell and wanted to help the manager to look after them.
Dogs are the most faithfully friends of people, but in front of me, the dogs were in a very poor conditions. Some of them had be injured, they looked me in my eyes and I can image what they had suffered through their sadly eyes. After I finished helping the manager to clean up the room and the cages, I sweated a lot but I was still very happy because when helping others I also can gain happiness.
I think help homeless animals to live better is very meaningful, everybody in the world should keep a kind heart to anything around us and this is benefit to create a harmony world. The characteristic of kindness is always required to work effectively and safely with others and succeed as individual and collaborative workers.

Library is a public place for citizens to read books and acquire knowledge freely. Nanjing Library is the biggest library in Nanjing now which had been completed recently.
I went to Nanjing Library with Wendy and the manager gave us a task that is classifying the books and magazines, the working place is a empty toilet. We were supervised by the sight in front of us when we entered the working place, hundreds and hundreds of books spread out on the ground in a messy.
After five hours our work finally done, I feel so glad to look at so many books be arranged in the neat way. In my own little room, my desk always too messy for me to write and read books but after this valuable experience I always keep my desk in a clean and neat way because when I think about overcoming that task in Nanjing Library I know clean up my desk is good for my study and not that hard.
Knowing how to classify things is an important skill and this will make it easy and quick to find the things we need so it is required to work efficiently and with others, give them good impress and succeed as individual and collaborative.
Citizens always have free access to libraries, but libraries are too big and there are so many books in it, so the workers in it are very hard. Library is a public place and benefits all of us so we all have duty to protect it and contribute for it.
Over all, the two volunteer experience is very valuable and meaningful to me, I grow a lot though it and I will work for some public organizations consciously and continually.
